Worldwide Didjeridu Meditation
The International Didjeridu Meditation is a global prayer for peace and harmony. It begins at sunset in Australia with Didjeridu playing and continues around the world at sunset in each location. The Autumnal Equinox begins on 9-22-25. Sunset on that day is at approx. 6:46pm. Members of The Chicago Didjeridu Chorus will play between 6-8pm to welcome in the Equinox energy and to continue the healing energy and prayerful intentions that begin in Australia at sunset on that day.
There is no cover charge. The ground may be wet, so please bring a chair.
The event will take at the Peace Fire location just north of Northeastern University’s Physical Education Building on the South side of the campus, just off Foster Ave. *If it rains, we will be in one of the exercise studios in the Physical Education building.
Free street parking is available on St Louis (side street along the eastern edge of the campus. (St Louis is a one-way street going south) *Campus parking is by permit only. Permits are available online at https://www.neiu.edu/university-life/parking/visitors-and-vendors
